Good morning everyone!
Thank you first to Ms. Linda for encouraging me to get on the bandwagon for our BELOVED pets. I am one who truly loves ALL nature's creatures.
Next, I am so sorry for ALL of your furry kids whom have been taken ill and/or entered pet Heaven prematurely, whatever the reason!
Finally, I will attach a picture of my BABY Master Bailey Benjamen Anderson when my hubby helps me with this process! Thankfully,
I read a post from Linda stating the horrific fact that her BELOVED
Coyote, a gorgeous Saluki entered pet Heaven, due to the Pedigree dog food brand being tainted. I HAD been serving my fussily little Bichon Frise Pedigree pouches for seniors for a LONG while. I read Linda's blog on Thursday and took my boy to the vet this past week-end! Thank the good Lord , the vet assured me that Bailey is alright. He had a Lyme's disease vaccination and also, a fecal check at that time. In a few weeks, I will take him back to the vet for the booster shot for the prevention of Lymes disease carried by specific wood ticks. For the past 2 years, Bailey and I have been bitten by countless woodticks but fortunately, we haven't contracted that dread disease. One young lady vet told me that her own personal pet clinic in Woodbury. MN did not believe in this vaccination. I proved her WRONG! I just read that due to global warming woodticks specifically are "branching out"--pun intended!-- to MORE parts of the world--even northern sites!
Finally, even though my Bailey wasn't poisoned this time, God forbid, that there would me another re-call on pet foods. I read that there was a similar recall in 2005. Does anyone remember that one? Maybe that info could be researched and used as "fuel for the fire" regarding what our pets are ACTUALLY consuming!
I almost forgot to add that I have been a NERVOUS wreck worrying about my pet and all of yours as well. I actually broke down and cried this last week when I went to my doctor's office -- in the front lobby no less when I was discussing with a staff person about the re-call-- TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT!!!
