Thanks for this site. I lost my Sally a week ago, not because of the bad food...or at least I hope not..I pray that is was just old age..she had been my baby for almost 19 years..slept with me..sat everynight next to me on the sofa....when I walked out of the room and she could not find me, she would meow so loud. I miss her terrible. My greatest regret, is that she died alone..down in the basement. She walked in to the family room the night before she died and meowed at all of us then left..never came to bed..found her in the morning..Thank goodness I have a great boss and let me go home...I was a mess, she is buired next to her brother Willie and I will extend my garden to her grave...Thanks for letting me tell you all my story. My daugter in law made sure I had a new kitten, Cooper is his name...and he is now chewing my toes...I will never stop missing my Sally...she will always have a place in my heart...

Aww bless your heart. I hope that Cooper can bring you a little bit of closure and a lot of love. I know I couldn't have made it like I have without Kali's babies - Kami and Malley. They have brought me a little bit of closure, a lot of love and laughs along the way. Kinda bitter sweet isn't it. 19 years - Wow. I bet you gave her the best life possible. I had a cat, Jade, who lived 19 years. She left us due to cancer, she was such a great cat, and loved us unconditionally. Anything that sits on top of a 6 ft rattle snake from 7am until 6pm, not letting it move until her daddy got home to take care of it, is just amazing and I miss her so much. Sorry for getting into that.. If you'd like to share some pictures of your Sally and Cooper you can post them in the pictures section! I hope you keep posting here and thank you for sharing your story with us.
